This class has a focus on helping your feet to stay mobile and flexible. At this time of year we start to put on our boots and thick socks and slippers. After a summer of our feet being free, toes splaying and joints bending as we walk around barefoot, over the winter they can become stiff and stuck in their layers of protection so it's really important to keep them moving. We'll move the joints in the feet (did you know there are 33 joints in each foot?), strengthen and stretch muscles in the feet, around the ankles and up into the lower legs, and practice some balancing too. You'll need a yoga block and you might need a chair or some wall space, as well as your usual blanket and/or cushion. I hope you enjoy the practice and your feet feel awake and energised afterwards.
