This is a seated sequence to help release a stiff, tight upper back, bringing it more mobility and, I hope, a sense of relief and release. The practice can be done seated on either the floor or a chair. You'll need a block for the final supine backbend and might need another one to put under your head.

In this class I'm sharing the Moon Salutation with you (Sanskrit name Chandra Namaskar). Its a less energetic sequence than the Sun Salutation (Surya Namaskar), focusing more on the legs and hips, and is suitable to practise in the evening to quieten the energy rather than rev it up.
