This vinyasa flow class has a focus on stretching the thighs. In both sequences you'll do poses such as Crescent Moon Pose (Anjaneyasana) and Lizard Pose (Uttan Pristhasana) and reaching back to catch the foot to stretch deeper in poses such as Half Frog Pose (Ardha Bekhasana), Standing Quad Stretch (which has the wonderful Sanskrit name of Purvatara Jangha Uttana Tadasana) and Dancers Pose (Natarajasana). A floor sequence includes Bow Pose (Dhanurasana), Childs Pose (Balasana), Half Lord of the Fishes Pose (Ardha Matsyendrasana) and Star Pose (Tarasana) (
Props required: A blanket for under the knees and you might like a belt to loop around your foot.
Mat direction: Short edge of the mat facing the screen.
