Tutorial for Sphynx Pose (Salamba Bhujangasana) - August 2025

Emphasis: If you've ever struggled in your Sun Salutations with lowering down to the ground from Downward Facing Dog or Plank Pose to come into the backbend, this tutorial will give you a few alignment tips to make it more effortless. Taking Sphynx Pose rather than Cobra Pose often works better for anyone with lower back issues, and lowering down this way can offer some engagement of the core and strengthening for the arms too. (
