This class is all about Sun Salutations. They're done at a slow and steady pace and are a great way to move your joints, get your heart rate up, your circulation going and use lots of your muscles. You'll start with just the Forward Fold (Uttanasana) and then repeat it adding in the lunge (Ashwa Sanchalanasana), then the next time you'll add in the Downward Facing Dog (Adho Mukha Svanasana) and so on until you've completed a full Sun Salutation. You'll then do two different versions of Sun Salutation C (Surya Namaskar C) before a brief relaxation in Constructive Rest Pose. You're then ready to go on with the rest of your day or add in another practice or type of exercise now you're warmed up.
Props required: You might want a blanket for under your knee and maybe a couple of bricks for under your hands in the lunge.
Mat direction: Short edge of the mat facing the screen.
